Welcome to Casa Aguila, S’Albufera
Casa Aguila is a spacious, split-level villa on a large plot within Menorca’s “S’Albufera Parc Natural”. It has superb views across open countryside to a bird sanctuary lake and to the sea. There are unspoilt beaches about a mile from the villa, which has its own 8m private swimming pool. S’Albufera is a select, low-density development set in beautiful countryside in part of the Parc Natural about 5 miles north of Mahon (Mao), the capital of Menorca. There are bars and restaurants in the nearby picturesque fishing village of Es Grau.

Es Grau bay, with its sandy beach and shallow water, is ideal for children. Sand dunes and pine woods, full of singing nightingales and migrant birds in spring and autumn, separate the beach from the Albufera. Rocks along the shore of the bay provide opportunities for snorkelling. Windsurfing and kayaking are popular, as are the boat trips which can take you to yet more sandy beaches on the nearby Isle of Colom.

The villa is ideally situated for those seeking a Mediterranean holiday in unspoilt surroundings, away from the crowds, yet it is within easy reach of the local amenities. It will be especially appreciated by walkers, with the recently opened Cami de Cavalls – a coastal path around the entire Island – nearby. Because of the hillside location of Casa Aguila and the number of steps leading down to the villa, it is regretably unsuitable for those with mobility problems, and families with very young children.
