4 Bedroom (Sleeps 8) Farmhouse in Gozo
Description
INTRODUCING TA RENA – By Jules
“Even the entrance of Ta Rena will blow you away. The strong broad archways of local stone are a reassuring presence throughout the cottage and when you follow the limestone staircase to the pool terrace you’ll be met with the most spectacular view.
Ta Rena boasts one of the best vantage points in all of Gozo with panoramic views of the countryside from the pool and roof top terraces yet it’s just a short stroll to the bars shops and restaurants of Nadur.
You’ll fall in love with the place instantly – which is exactly what we did. Ta Rena (named after my mum) was the Gozo holiday farmhouse that launched Jules’ Gozo Holidays. It’s our flagship holiday home and it’s just as warm and welcoming as it’s always been”. Jules

LOCATION; Nadur Village:
Nadur is Gozo’s second-largest village spread out over the top of a plateau. Nadur “nadir” means to “keep guard” and much of the island and beyond can be seen from the village. Nadur has a huge church dedicated to apostles Saints Peter and Paul with the foundation stone laid as far back as 1760. The church is entirely covered in marble. Paintings on the dome and ceiling by Lazzaro Pisami recreate images from the life of Peter and Paul. The church is believed to be Gozo’s best baroque architectural masterpiece. It also owns the Gozo Maritime Museum off the village square.
The feast of Nadur – Mnarja – is celebrated on 29th June every year. A carnival atmosphere buzzes with colorful illuminations fireworks music band processions and dancing. Nadur is also the fruit growing district of the island. It plays host to the annual Delicata Wine Festival. Nearby is Gozo’s largest sandy bay Ir-Ramla and the small coves of Dahlet Qorrot and San Blas – perfect for snorkeling.
