Description
Podere dell’Osteria is a classic Tuscan farmhouse recently refurbished and furnished to a very high level. Every bedroom has its own bathroom and the house is full of historic features like niches and cupboard recesses.
Located midway between the three delightful towns of San Quirico d’Orcia, Pienza and Bagno Vignoni, it makes a perfect holiday location.
On the ground floor is situated one of the double bedrooms with its en suite bathroom. A perfect suite for a couple wanting to be a little separate. The remainder of the rooms are on the upper floor: a spacious sitting room and dining room, a well-equipped kitchen and the other three double bedrooms, each with its bathroom. It’s all been remodelled to a very high standard.
Outside there is a flowered garden with sunny and shaded areas, a pergola and a travertine table to have lunch and dinner outdoors, a barbecue, comfortable sofas, soft cushions and armchairs … an old serene stone bench abandoned in the shade of a Willow.
At the end of the garden there is a large private swimming pool of 6 x 13m with a large solarium, equipped with umbrellas, deck chairs and sun loungers.

In short, an excellent choice for families with children.
The nearest town, 5KM away, is Campiglia d’Orcia. It is a typical pretty town with cafe/bar and grocery shop. Further afield is San Quirico d’Orcia, a larger town with shops, restaurants, pharmacy and other amenities.
The villa is conveniently located, enjoying the tranquility of the Tuscan countryside whilst also being nearby towns. You can choose to go in a few tens of minutes in the nearby spas (Bagno Vignoni and Bagni San Filippo), or visit the nearby medieval towns (Montalcino and San Quirico d’Orcia) and Rinascimentali (Pienza and Montepulciano). The Sienese Museums network provides us with works of art to see in every country. You are also in close contact with nature by trekking in nature trails or trying to find the white truffle in San Giovanni d’Asso.
Living between Brunello di Montalcino and Nobile di Montepulciano, without considering our other DOC Orcia, it is easy to visit vineyards and wineries and to make tastings.
